What we’re calling Support Local November is about getting to know the business owners, retailers, restaurants, and charities in our own backyard. Every Friday, for the month of November, we’re showcasing a few of our favourite businesses around Downtown Abbotsford in hopes that you take a moment to think about what we can all do to support our community.

Not much beats the warm feelings that come from gathering around good food, sipping warm drinks on chilly winter days, or finding your new favourite place to eat.
We’re lucky to have so many Downtown Abby spots to choose from. Whether you recognize an old favourite on our list or see a name you’ve never heard of, let’s challenge each other to eat + drink at locally owned businesses this season!

Speaking of eating and drinking local, starting Monday and running for two weeks, our Chef’s at Field House have curated sharable menus for two using as many ingredients as possible from Field House Farms and other local farmers!

Boardgame lovers, this one’s for you! With over 500 games to play, Boardwalk Cafe is the perfect place for a little friendly competition or collaborative game play. They have great snacks, coffee and local beers, so go check it out!
One of our crew’s favourite lunch spots for good food, BRGR BRGR has a full tap list of awesome breweries from across the Valley, including Field House! With a solid variety of gluten-free and vegan options, they have a little something for everyone.
Just thinking about Habit juice has us dreaming about our summertime Radlers, crafted with their cold-pressed juice. Passionate about life balance and improving wellness, Habit has cold-pressed juices, nut mylks, nourishing bowls and more all made with locally sourced ingredients and trusted companies.
We may be a little biased, but the eats coming out of the Canteen Kitchen are pretty dang good. Seasonally driven with ingredients from our Field House Farms’ Project and locally sourced in collaboration with local farmers, markets, and talented bakers.
